Key global FinTech hubs have highlighted that females are underrepresented within the existing talent pool. The Bahrain FinTech Gender Balance report investigated this theory in the context of Bahrain and addressed the measures that need to be implemented in the future to encourage gender balance within the local FinTech ecosystem.

 

A study on Bahrain’s financial services and ICT industry were also adopted to reference mature cases for the investigation. Based on the takeaways, the report determined potential opportunities and challenges linked to gender in regards to the local FinTech industry.
