Tim has nearly twenty years’ in the financial services industry with specific expertise in the development of strategies for transformation and future business models, as well as hands on experience of delivering those strategies. With a Masters degree in Mathematics from the University of Durham, Tim is comfortable and highly effective working at board or detailed operational levels.
He has a proven track record of delivering projects from international acquiring strategies and partnerships, through to a UK-based eCommerce platform migration. His subject knowledge covers the whole span of payments, with a strong foundation from over a decade working with Barclaycard’s issuing,
co-brand partnerships and merchant acquiring divisions, plus four years as merchant acquirer Elavon's European Strategy Director.
Most recently, Tim has been working within the UK’s Open Banking Implementation Entity, helping to map out strategies for the future of the organisation. In recent years Tim has also been a board member at the European Payment Institutions Federation (EPIF) and member of the UK Finance trade associations, looking at the future potential and immediate impact of regulations.
