Acceleration Intern (Project Coordinator)

Role Overview

The Acceleration Intern will support the planning, coordination, and execution of acceleration programs. This role offers hands-on experience in program management, event coordination, stakeholder engagement, and startup support, providing a valuable opportunity to engage in Bahrain’s growing entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Reporting to:

Acceleration Programs Manager, Innovate for Bahrain

Key Responsibilities

1. Program Coordination:

• Assist in organizing and executing acceleration programs, bootcamps, and mentorship sessions

• Track program timelines and deliverables

• Help schedule sessions, manage calendars, and prepare participant agendas

2. Participant Engagement:

• Act as a key contact for participants and mentors

• Coordinate communication among participants, mentors, and speakers

• Support participant onboarding and ensure timely access to all required materials

3. Event Support:

• Assist in planning and delivering workshops, sessions, and networking events

• Manage logistics, including venue setup, technical needs, and attendee coordination

4. Marketing & Communications:

• Collaborate with the marketing team on social media, newsletters, and promotional content

• Coordinate marketing scheduling and serve as the main point of contact for participants

5. Administrative Support:

• Maintain documentation, databases, and participant records

• Collect and organize all relevant files, feedback forms, and reports

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in management, marketing or a related field

• Strong communication skills in both Arabic and English (spoken &written)

• Interest in innovation, startups, and the fintech ecosystem

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders effectively

• Detail-oriented with a proactive and solution-driven mindset

• Comfortable with live events, public engagement, and team collaboration

• Previous experience in events, student clubs, extracurricular activities, or project coordination is a plus
