Business Development
(Senior Level)

As the Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying and pursuing growth opportunities for Bahrain FinTech Bay. You will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, driving strategic partnerships, and expanding our network within the fintech industry. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Partnerships: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with fintechs across the globe and execute a client acquisition strategy to attract fintech companies to setup operations in Bahrain

• Business Development: Collaborate with the leadership team to define business development goals, and work towards achieving the set KPIs

• Market Research: Stay up to date with industry trends and market dynamics to provide valuable insights and support strategic decision-making.

• Networking: Act as a representative of Bahrain Fintech Bay at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build and maintain a strong presence in the fintech community.

• Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing fintech partners ensuring their satisfaction and engagement within the ecosystem.

• Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments, such as marketing, operations, and events, to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

• Proven track record in business development and strategic partnership management within the fintech or financial services industry.

• Strong understanding of the fintech landscape, trends, and regulatory frameworks.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of initiative and leadership.

• Demonstrated experience in successfully closing deals and driving revenue growth.

• Familiarity with Bahrain's business environment and ecosystem is advantageous.

• Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
