Bahrain FinTech Bay announces the launch of the sixth cohort of Futremakers Women in Tech Bahrain Program in collaboration with Tamkeen, Supreme Council for Women (SCW), and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization Investment and Technology Promotion Office, in Bahrain (UNIDO ITPO Bahrain). The program aims to support women-led businesses and entrepreneurs in the Kingdom of Bahrain by promoting women entrepreneurs' economic and social development through tech-focused training.

Founders will receive training and mentorship throughout the program, and the top 3 winning teams will each receive prize money to accelerate their solutions further. The program will consist of two phases, the selection and incubation phases, concluding with a final demo day.

The top 10 teams will be selected to undergo an 8-week incubation period as part of the Futuremakers Women in Tech Bahrain. They will receive one-to-one mentorship, pitch practice sessions, and discussions with industry experts. Following the 8 weeks, each team will pitch its solutions to a panel of judges on the final demo day.

This year's cohort focuses on businesses with tech-based or tech-enabled solutions which tackle a specific, social, economic or environmental issue aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
