Where Ambition Meets Success

Bahrain FinTech Bay, in partnership with Standard Chartered Bahrain, announces the launch of the fifth cohort of the SC Women in Tech Incubation Program, in collaboration with the Central Bank of Bahrain, Tamkeen, Supreme Council for Women (SCW), and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization Investment and Technology Promotion Office, in Bahrain (UNIDO ITPO Bahrain). The program aims to support women-led SMEs and entrepreneurs in the Kingdom of Bahrain by promoting women entrepreneurs' economic and social development through tech-focused entrepreneurship.

Startups will receive training and mentorship throughout the program, and the top 3 winning teams will each receive prize money to accelerate their solutions further. The program will consist of two phases, the selection and incubation phases, concluding with a final demo day.

The top 10 teams will be selected to undergo an 8-week incubation period as part of the SC Women in Tech Program. They will receive one-to-one mentorship, pitch practice sessions, and discussions with industry experts. Following the 8-weeks, each team will pitch its solutions to a panel of judges on the final demo day.

This year's cohort focuses on developing innovative solutions that support business continuity, community, and sustainability. The startups can select their main theme that focuses on their solution and further integrate SDGs, defined by the UN, as part of their strategy to scale further and grow their solution.
