Head of Financial Institutions

The Head of Financial Institutions will be responsible for establishing and managing all banking relationships and partnerships, financial institution relationships and partnerships, payment rails, settlement processes, and liquidity flows for AXCoin EMEA.

Reporting Line:

Managing Director & Regional Head EMEA

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and manage relationships and partnerships with local and regional banks, financial institutions relationships and partnerships.

• Lead onboarding and integration of payment rails and settlement accounts.

• Define and oversee payment flows, reconciliations, and liquidity processes.

• Work closely with compliance and product teams to ensure regulatory alignment.

• Support expansion of banking and payment capabilities across EMEA.

• Act as the key point of contact for banking partners.

Requirements

• 7+ years’ experience in payments, transaction banking, or treasury roles.

• Strong understanding of payment infrastructure and settlement processes.

• Experience working with regulated financial products.

• International experience and qualifications are highly desirable.

• Strong execution and stakeholder management skills.
