Bahrain Credit announces its strategic partnership with one of the leading FinTech hubs in the region, Bahrain FinTech Bay.

We are pleased to announce our partnership with Fasset, a regulated digital asset gateway bringing easy and frictionless access to the digital asset ecosystem. Fasset was the first company to enter the Central Bank of Bahrain's regulatory sandbox to provide tokenization services.

The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has announced the top 8 shortlisted teams participating in the NBB Digital Banking Challenge, held in partnership with Bahrain Fintech Bay (BFB).  

We aim to identify the local FinTech industry's key growth drivers, key developments in the previous years, as well as evidence behind the growth of FinTech in Bahrain. 

We are delighted to announce the five winning teams of the 2nd edition of the SC Women in Tech Incubation Program. In addition, we launched the NBB Digital Banking Challenge in strategic partnership with NBB. Several new residents joined our ecosystem, followed by engaging partner updates.

Manama, Bahrain -  The National Bank of Bahrain in strategic partnership with one of the region’s leading FinTech hubs, Bahrain FinTech Bay, launches the Digital Banking Challenge, and is accepting applications. 

This month, we welcomed the three winning teams of the Build for Bahrain Acceleration Program and members of the U.S. Embassy Bahrain at our offices in Bahrain Bay to mark the successful end of the program, which was held in partnership with the U.S. State Department's MEPI. We are also delighted to welcome MEVP and RAED Ventures as part of our vast network of VC partners in an effort to bolster the FinTech ecosystem in the region.

July 4, 2021 (Manama, Bahrain) - The Build for Bahrain Acceleration Program, held in partnership with Bahrain FinTech Bay and the U.S. State Department’s MEPI, has successfully concluded with the three winning teams completing the acceleration program and 3-month incubation period at Bahrain FinTech Bay (BFB). 

We are happy to announce our new partner network of VCs representing a diverse group of the region’s most active investment firms, focused on helping innovative startups grow. The joint efforts of the two entities, in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and the National Real Estate Plan (2021-2024) will be accelerated to achieve a strong and sustainable real estate sector.

Bahrain FinTech Bay (BFB) and the FinTech Association of Israel -FinTech Aviv (FTA) have signed an agreement to cooperate and collaborate on matters of mutual interest relating to the development of the fintech industry in the region.

The agreement follows the signing of the Abraham Accords Peace agreement between Bahrain and Israel in September 2020.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, “Innovate for Bahrain” was established - An initiative to locally drive solution sourcing in key areas such as business continuity, community, and healthcare. In collaboration with our founding partners, these programs invited innovative entrepreneurs and startups across the Kingdom to ideate and launch their digital solutions that support the nation’s response and recovery during these times.
