Memorandum of Understanding Signed between Bahrain Polytechnic and Bahrain FinTech Bay


Stemming from its efforts to strengthen its partnerships with various sectors, Bahrain Polytechnic signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Bahrain FinTech Bay, aimed at enhancing joint cooperation in offering students training opportunities.


The signing ceremony took place at the Polytechnic's campus in Isa Town, in the presence of the CEO of Bahrain Polytechnic, Professor Ciarán Ó Catháin, and the CEO of Bahrain FinTech Bay, Mr. Bader Sater, along with a number of officials from both sides.


Based on the memorandum, both organizations will collaborate to provide vocational and practical training for students at Bahrain FinTech Bay’s headquarters. In addition, both organizations will exchange knowledge, experiences, and ideas that will develop students’ skills in the field of financial technology.


On this occasion, the CEO of Bahrain Polytechnic, Professor Ciarán Ó Catháin, expressed his delight in signing the memorandum with Bahrain FinTech Bay and stated: “It is our pleasure to start a fruitful collaboration with one of the leading centers for financial technology in the Middle East. Our cooperation includes implementing educational initiatives and integrated training to strengthen the skills of our students and graduates, which will in turn enhance their career opportunities and qualifies them to excel in their career.”


Bader Sater, CEO of Bahrain FinTech Bay, commented: “We are confident that our collaboration with Bahrain Polytechnic will yield tangible benefits for the local youth. Our goal is to provide the students with training opportunities to ensure they have the practical knowledge and skillsets that they would need to thrive in the fintech field.”
