Bahrain FinTech Bay and The Business Year Sign Strategic MoU to Advance Bahrain’s Fintech Ecosystem

Manama, Bahrain, February 23 2026 – The Business Year (TBY) and Bahrain FinTech Bay (BFB) have signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on the upcoming Bahrain Future of Finance Special Report and the Finance Leadership Forum, reinforcing their shared commitment to advancing Bahrain’s financial innovation landscape.
The MoU was signed by Clara Corominas, Country Director of The Business Year in Bahrain, and Suzy Al Zeerah, Chief Operating Officer of Bahrain FinTech Bay. The agreement reflects a joint ambition to elevate Bahrain’s positioning as one of the GCC’s most dynamic fintech and financial services hubs, while amplifying the Kingdom’s innovation-driven financial ecosystem to regional and global audiences.
Under the partnership, TBY and Bahrain FinTech Bay will combine BFB’s ecosystem leadership and fintech innovation platform with TBY’s global research and media reach to deliver comprehensive coverage of Bahrain’s rapidly evolving fintech landscape. The report will feature exclusive interviews with sector leaders, analysis of regulatory and market trends, and editorial designed to highlight fintech’s expanding role in shaping Bahrain’s future financial services landscape.
Beyond the publication, Bahrain FinTech Bay will play an active role in the Finance Leadership Forum, curating and leading the dedicated segment “Next Gen Finance Startups – brought by Bahrain FinTech Bay,” where high-potential fintech ventures will be showcased to senior industry stakeholders, investors, and policymakers, reinforcing the Kingdom’s positioning as a launchpad for financial innovation.
