Bahrain FinTech Bay signs MOU with Bahrain Business Women’s Society

Press release: [November 20, 2022] Bahrain FinTech Bay (BFB), one of the leading FinTech hubs in the region, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Bahrain Business Women’s Society (BBS).

The partnership brings various benefits for female-led entrepreneurs in Bahrain, including access to the Women in Tech Bahrain Chapter, and speaking opportunities. In addition, both parties will collaborate on joint female-led initiatives and programs in the tech space.

Ahlam Yousif Janahi, President of the Bahrain Business Women Society, shared “the cooperation between the Society and Bahrain FinTech Bay is to achieve the common objectives of developing Entrepreneurship skills, tech startups and professionalism in the various fields of business.”

Suzy Al Zeerah, Chief Operating Officer of Bahrain FinTech Bay, commented, “We are delighted to collaborate with the Bahrain Business Women’s Society, building on our momentum towards supporting female tech entrepreneurs in Bahrain and providing an environment that cultivates innovation.”

Doris Martin, Ambassador of Women in Tech Bahrain Chapter, Vice Head of Training & Technology Committee at BBS, stated that we look forward to collaborate between Bahrain Fintech Bay and Bahrain Businesswomen’s Society- Women in Tech on joint training programs, workshops and innovative activities. We hope to reach our objective of promoting and training 10,000 Women in Tech members yearly.
